Become a Member
APOTC is always seeking new members. There is only one qualification – that you love dogs! It doesn’t matter if your dog is a purebred or a mix. Mixed breeds are welcome in all performance events – obedience, rally, agility, tracking, dock diving, barn hunt, trick dog, field work and scent work. Even if you have no desire to show your dog, you will have an opportunity to be around dogs and “dog people”, learn about dogs and dog events, see what an obedience trial is all about and help out at our August obedience trial and several agility trials held throughout the year. If you would like to show your dog but aren’t sure how to get started, APOTC will help you. Our members are involved in a wide variety of performance events and will take you under their wing.
A candidate for membership must be sponsored by a current member, attend three membership meetings (held the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. except January, July and August) and pay nominal dues. Hook up with a member and join APOTC today!
